About Us

Rocket Radio is a community web radio devoted to music culture and promotion of independent artists.

Founded in Verona, Italy, in 2014, along the years RR have become a crossroads for creative people keen to participate in a community project that supports and gives voice to emerging artists through a network of local and international partnerships.

We keep our doors open to the public and to new collaborations, broadcasting original series and special in-studio events. Connecting local djs and producers to international guests, collaborating with high profile brands and festivals while supporting town based cultural projects and events: this is how we work to enhance the creative potential of our community.

With two more studios, in Bologna and Milan, regular contributions from Berlin and Ibiza, and a video streaming project called RRTV, Rocket Radio channels diverse and unique music realities, exploring all the potentials of a modern web radio.

History

• 2014 - RR’s first streaming: a home experiment sets the stage for the radio

• 
2015 - RR starts regular broadcasts and opens the iconic headquarters in the historic district of Veronetta: an open studio with a small but classy bar becomes a hub for creatives and music lovers, and a venue for underground events

• 2017 - RR goes to Milan: a second studio starts broadcasting from the big city

• 2019 - RR goes to Bologna: a third studio gives voice to one of the most dynamic cities in Italy
